Illinois felony drug bust

Donald A. Cook, 34, was arrested for attempt to manufacture methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine manufacturing chemicals, unlawful transfer of anhydrous ammonia and production of cannabis plants at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday. Cook was also arrested on a Henderson County, Illinois warrant for obstructing justice and a Georgia warrant for parole violation.
Police said the arrest came after officers with the West Central Illinois Drug Task Force, Henderson County Sheriff's deputies and Illinois State Police executed a search warrant at Cook's Blandinsville home.

During the search, Illinois officers reportedly found about 100 pounds of anhydrous ammonia and several marijuana plants.

Cook was being held in the Henderson County jail in Illinois on $50,000 bond.
